Effective from Monday, 1 July 2024, all loans previously handled for us by Gadens Lawyers Brisbane will be taken over by Green Mortgage Lawyers.
Gadens Lawyers Brisbane will no longer be acting as panel solicitors due to them withdrawing from retail mortgage processing.

When will the change be effective?
Green Mortgage Lawyers will handle all settlement matters for instructions received after 1 July 2024.
What happens to pipeline deals?
Green Mortgage Lawyers will complete the settlement of any pipeline deals. Where customers have been issued with loan documents by Gadens Lawyers Brisbane and the completed documents have been returned, Green Mortgage Lawyers will now complete the settlement. Any deals that have not settled by the 1 July 2024 will be transferred to Green Mortgage Lawyers.
Will this impact loan documentation and settlement times?
No. Green Mortgage Lawyers will have all the loan file records previously held by Gadens Brisbane. This will allow for a seamless process for customers to return the completed loan documentation to Green Mortgage Lawyers.
Please note where loan documents are sent via Docusign or email, there is no change to existing process for returning mortgage documents.
Will the person handling an existing loan change?
No. All staff in the Gadens Brisbane retail banking team are moving to Green Mortgage Lawyers
What if I have an unexpected urgent settlement that I need expedited?
Green Mortgage Lawyers can still be contacted on existing Gadens Brisbane email addresses and phone numbers.
Loan tracking portal.
From 1 July loan tracking will be through the new portal GML Track. All data from GPSL will be transferred to GML Track.
Emails
All Gadens email will divert for a lengthy period of time to the new email addresses. The new email addresses are the same format with new firm name: firstname.surname@greenmortgagelawyers.com
